Technical Abuse Policy

This Technical Abuse Policy ("Policy") describes activities that are prohibited on the RentMy platform and how Renterval LLC (operating as RentMy, "RentMy", "we") investigates and enforces against them. This Policy supplements — and forms part of — our Terms & Conditions. Capitalized terms used here have the meanings given in those Terms.

You may not use RentMy infrastructure, storefronts, APIs, or messaging features to conduct illegal, abusive, or unauthorized activities.

Attempting to compromise system integrity, bypass security features, or launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks is strictly prohibited.

To ensure system stability for all users, API requests and storefront traffic are subject to automated rate limiting. Attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of this policy.

We encourage security researchers to report vulnerabilities responsibly. Do not access or modify customer data without authorization during testing.

Sending unsolicited email campaigns, phishing scams, or hosting malicious code via RentMy-hosted storefronts will result in immediate account termination.

Automated scraping or bot traffic that negatively impacts platform performance is prohibited.

Using RentMy servers for cryptocurrency mining or non-rental computational workloads is strictly forbidden.

If you discover technical abuse originating from RentMy, report it immediately to hello@rentmy.co.

RentMy actively monitors systems and investigates reported violations. We reserve the right to audit suspicious activity.

Violations of this Policy may result in temporary rate-limiting, suspension of specific features, or permanent account termination.

RentMy cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating cybercrime or illegal activity.

We may update this Policy periodically to address emerging security threats and operational updates.
